Like the Hope for Men program, Hope for Women is a one-year discipleship term. The women take classes two full days a week and work in the Family Shelter the rest of the week.
Women can qualify for the program if they are willing to commit 12 months of their lives to intense discipleship training. Faith City discipleship exists for the purpose of training up these women to be true followers of Christ who will radically transform the world they live in and reach a lost world with a message of hope and salvation. Some are homeless, and some come from abusive situations or drug abuse.
Upon graduation, Faith City Ministries helps them to make the transition to the world. They are taught goal setting, such as obtaining a GED, job training, or finding employment. Training at the Mission includes secretarial and administrative, cooking and housekeeping, etc.
